Rib Retubes Ltd is a Yorkshire based company that is solely focused on the retubing and repairs of Ribs and Fibreglass boats. Rib Retubes is run by James Millett and Glen Coulman, both with more than 20 years experience in boat building and repairs, they are also both directors of XS Ribs. XS Ribs concentrates on the manufacture and distribution of NEW boats, Rib Retubes on all of the repair and refurbishment work of older boats.
With the move in 2018 to our new larger premises we are now able to take on much more repair work and at all times of the year.
We felt it was important that a company solely dealing with repair work was available to service this important sector of the market but it had to have the values associated with "new build" so Rib Retubes Ltd was created. Operating from the same site as XS Ribs this company offers professional repair services on all makes and types of craft.

James Millett
James has been around Boats his whole life; he started Building Ribs at 16 working for his father, Garry, at Tornado Boats first, before setting up XS Ribs in 2002. James has a all round knowledge of RIB's
Glen Coulman
Glen has also been around Ribs his whole life, he first met James when working at Tornado, where his father, Ted, was foreman for many years. Glen's main area of expertise is Tube Work and pattern making. Glen left Tornado at the same time as James to set up XS Ribs.
